big hole

sink hole found in SS4. near me office!

yeaps... we were shooting patrick's short film on saturday and when we were moving to the second location, we passed by this road leading to the office... and yes, it's a sink hole!!! man, it's so big, i think it would have swollowed an entire car into the ground. man, how could this happen? the road looked perfectly fine? it was all nice and neat and clean... the road was smooth! then it hit me when i saw the picture. the illustration couldnt be any clearer. it's just like our lives. sometimes it might look all cool. all smooth and all great! it's just running so smooth, the road is so straight and nice. everything is ok, or so it seems. then it happens, the surface collapses and we have a HUGE hole! arent our lives just like that? at times we just look all ok on the outside, but beneath it, we're just digging deeper into trouble, letting things slide... it eats the earth, and before you know it, our surface collapses. it's such a life lesson. so simple yet so true. no need to pick your brains out to figure this out. it's as clear as it can get. a sinkhole is just so dangerous. so so dangerous. So peeps, let's keep ourselves as far as we can from ever letting this happen by constantly checking the condition of what's underneath our outer layer. Life's a journey... let's make sure we make it to the finish line together.
