Of Kings and only Kings!

hey peeps, yess... it's been a long time since i last updated my blog. yeah... blah blah... the usual. getting lazy to update nowadays. anyway, guess what? i spoke for the first time yesterday at youth church's second service. anand took first service. haha, i must say that i was a bit nervous before this but when i actually got up there in the front, i was alright! hahaha... was expecting myself to turn into butter and melt away but i didint. it was pretty exciting and looking at the faces of the young people was GREAT! i think i surprised myself as i didnt actually crumble in stage fright. hahaha, thanks to the great wise counsel of my DAD. mom was amazing also, guess she must have prayed real hard for me not to stumble! hahaha. it was a boost to have the support of my parents. in some cosmic coincidence they were up for the weekend and able to watch me speak. and noooo... we didint plan this! dad found out only on saturday evening. HAHAHA. and i must say, a HUGE thank you to the leaders of YC for praying for me. it helped! honest! and also to the friends around that was supporting me. really appreciate it! a special thanks to jon lee who actually went to the burger king counter and asked for the 'crowns' for me.

here's the account of the burger king crowns:
went to burger king in midvalley, couldnt find any on the counters.
had to ask the person behind the counter.

'Cik, boleh bagi itu 'crown' ah?'

the lady gave a weird look to this young working adult who's asking for burger king crowns meant for small kids.
nevertheless, she gave it to jon.
jon counts.
only 2 crowns.

'Cik, boleh bagi tiga lagi ah?'

the lady looks in bewilderment, sighs and looks at jon with this 'what's wrong with this guy' stare.
she grabs another 3 crowns and passes it to jon.
jon flees from the scene.
in his own words...

"WAHHH... super pai seh wei.."

i think he'll stay away from burger king for a while now. hehehehe. well, thanks to that we were able to crown Jeremy Foo, Daniel Chong and Anand Kumar, KING! but we all know better. for there can only be one KING! and he's returned! no, it's not King Josiah anymore... *JENG JENG JENG* The Maharaja is back!
