steamed weekend!

aihhh, it's indeed one of the highlights of the year for me so far! yeah... this particular weekend was amazing! had a great time 'steaming' away with people. yeahhh, was back in batu pahat to visit my parents, man it's been too long. missing them so much. dad's been so busy working so hard for the family and also running the business, mom's the usual prayer power, always reminding us to do our quiet time and eat our vitamins everyday, bro's mega good at the O2 JAM game, been interesting watching that brat hitting the keyboards at warp speed... plus, i miss his 'i'm more handsome than you' vibes. HAHAHA. well, indeed it was wonderful to be back with them, and just last night, we had steamboat together with the family! and to cap it off, i got back to KL on sunday just to have fellowship with my fellow comrades in college ministry, and we had HO HO's Steamboat in sri petaling. yeah... the food was good but the company was even better! it was an amazing time where everyone could just chill, joke around, making fun and hearing laughs from around the table. hence the significance of "steam boat" for me this weekend but... in reality, it's not the steamboat dinners but the company which was at the respective dinners. It's been way too long since i last did enjoy myself like that, basking in the great company of family and friends and i really am grateful for it. the feeling of fellowshipping and chilling still lingers on even right now, it's just something which i'm trying very hard to explain in words but i can't. it's surreal, bliss i might say. chilling out at my crib after dinner was amazing as i felt that we really did bonded and enjoyed ourselves with the games and laughs that's coming from every corner. although there's the tiredness in each of us, we still managed to churn out some pretty interesting 'things' to do and man, TABOO was wayyyy funny. charades with taboo cards was not bad either. am always learning new things everyday, but with taboo, you learn waaaaaaayy much more each time you play. well, now i know that there's a cake in secret recipe called "rocky mountain" *wink*. it's been a fun night and definitely a night for me to frame in the photo book of my memories. a spark of life, of the things we are fighting for, for the passion, for the bigger picture, for the glory of God, everything that I exist for, it EXISTED for this weekend. so, here's a toast for the steaming weekend!
