christmas story

truely am speechless. it's amazing how sometimes we take christmas for granted. or God for that matter. we find ourselves reaching the point of desperation or waiting till our lives are in a total mess, then only we come back to God. oh well, i guess all that i can do is to just continue serving Him fervently, yeah... do not wanna take Him for granted, EVER! here's a blog story, on how life has changed for the life of one man, pastor glenn lim. treasure life people... start appreciating it and what you're going to do with your life. let's not take it all for granted and make the same mistakes again, but look towards making all our decisions count. blessed christmas and a happy new year peeps! cheers

"I think I got sentimental last night…I joined our church prison ministry Carolling team to go into Queenstown Remand Prison. In total 30 of us…We carolled and shared the Christmas message to 4 blocks of cells, Blk A to D….we took nearly 10 mins to transit to each block, going thru numerous prison gates and doors & walking thru a whole maze of tunnels…at each bloack we positioned ourselves at the courtyard facing their little prison cell ventilations…we set up mini speakers and mics, n the whole choir team was backed up by 4 guitarists, and then we sang our hearts out to the inmates who could not see us, they could only hear us…after lots of clapping, cat whistles & even requests for song dedications, we shared a 10 min gospel message, and closed with a touching chinese christmas song…lots of our team ladies were moved to tears. And as we transited out to the next block, the prisoners were all shouting from their cells for us to come back again…I remembered Block D where i was imprisoned 10 yrs ago…even managed to spot the back of my cell, plus the courtyard where we used to gather at a fence to shave in front of metal mirrors! memories…..makes this christmas even more meaningful for me, knowing how far God has brought me…"
